Legal Excellence

Wesley was inspired by his great uncle, the late Robert Rogers QC, to pursue a career in law. He graduated in 2012 from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a Bachelor of Laws degree, excelling in criminal law and international criminal law. His dedication led him to specialize in these fields.

Before graduating, he volunteered with Legal Aid South Africa and NICRO, witnessing firsthand the impact of inadequate legal representation on vulnerable communities. He then completed his articles at Legal Aid South Africa, earning an annual achiever award for his excellence. Following this, he joined one of KZN’s top Criminal Law practices as an Associate, where he achieved an impressive success rate in trial matters.

In 2018, Wesley established his own practice and further enhanced his expertise through a correspondence course in International Criminal Law from Case Western Reserve University and various certifications including UN certification in International Law and advanced Medico-Legal Forensics training.

Admitted at Counsel to the International Criminal Court at The Hague, Wesley is among the few South Africans with access to this prestigious court. He maintains professional relationships within both prosecution and judiciary circles and has been accepted by the Bar Standards Board of the UK to pursue admission as a Barrister at Law in England and Wales.

Wesley holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the Singapore Business School, which places him in an advantageous position regarding commercial crime matters.
